Open Sign PDFPrinting a document just to sign it and scan it back is slow. You can add your signature directly to the PDF in a couple of minutes.
Steps
- Open Sign PDF and add your document.
- Create your signature: Draw it with your finger or mouse, Type your name in a handwriting style, or Upload a photo of your signature on white paper (the background is removed for you).
- Go to the right page with the arrows and click Add signature to this page.
- Drag the signature onto the line and drag the round corner to resize it. Click Add today's date if needed.
- Click Sign PDF and download.
Getting a neat signature
- Drawing on a phone is easier than with a mouse — turn your phone sideways for more room.
- For an uploaded signature, sign on plain white paper with a dark pen and photograph it in good light.
- Blue ink can help show the document was signed rather than photocopied.
Is it legally valid?
A drawn or typed signature is accepted for many everyday documents, like returning a signed offer letter or a consent form. Some documents need a certified signature: in India, where the law specifically requires an electronic signature under the IT Act, that means a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign. When in doubt, ask the person or organisation receiving the document.
Is it private?
Yes. Your PDF and signature are processed in your browser and never uploaded or stored.
